The Bollygirl, aka Julia Casper, was born in 1981 in Flensburg, Germany, the daughter of a Persian/German couple. As a child, she studied ballet and piano while in school she participated in theatre and modern dance.
A short stint in the world of business convinced Julia to turn her hobby into a profession, and she entered the Stage School in Hamburg in 2002. There, she studied acting, dance and voice for three years.
The charming half-Persian made appearances on Hamburg’s stages and in film until her discovery by Timm Hogerzeil, the inventor and producer of Bollyrobics.
Work on the DVD is finally complete, but Julia is not done with Bollyrobics! The Bollygirl is currently giving workshops for trainers and is in preparation for a Bollyrobics sequel.
